Thomas Keller

I began creating art as the result of an spiritual awakening in 2001. Before that I was a construction contractor and have continued to be so. When I began painting I felt like a river of creativity was flooding through me and had to be released.

My paintings are mostly pastels, a medium I was drawn to naturally. Thousands of crystals of pure color comprise pastels so a painting is a crystal field reflecting light.

I then was drawn to free sculpt wood and since moving to Atlanta, Ga., a city carved out of an ancient forest, I've again felt compelled to release this river of creativity.  Wood is a very feminine medium with it's continuous grain curves and inherent strength. Peace and joy.
