My abstract artwork is relatively new since I have been an artist for over 30 years. It has been a long ride all these years and I am finally feeling that my artwork is where I always wanted it to be- strong, positive, and overall, very futuristic. I don’t have the voice, nor the right words, to describe why my artwork is the way that it is; but I express myself through the colors, the brushes, the spaces, and the effects over the canvas until I finally feel that there is movement in this silent dialogue.
I realize that many people may not understand it and I choose to leave it like that because people express their worlds in their own ways as they live different stages of their lives. But it is right there where life has its own changes, perhaps by the different opinions, or state of minds, and we become resourceful, we take new roads, new decisions, other points of view and we finally find the courage, and the strength as we search around until we find the universal light that will guide us so we can be our own selves.
My contemporary work is in constant evolution as I move from one piece to the next, and as I prepare to begin my next painting I am always thinking that I have to create something majestic afterwards.
Art is my passion and colors are my spirit.
