Carol Dameron

Carol Dameron brings a unique and thoughtful approach to her art. She has won awards and Best of Show as well as exhibited, taught, painted. After earning a BA at Tulane University, she studied art, painting, photography, and drawing at: Louvre, Paris; Centre Americain, Paris; Ecole Des Beaux-Arts, Dijon; and Rietveldt Academie, Amersterdam. She also studied independently in southern Portugal. Her solo shows have been at St. Petersburg City Hall, the Mahaffey Theatre, and Studio@602. She also has participated in numerous group shows throughout Florida and has completed over fifty commissions. Carol's latest body of work consists of 4' x 4' oil-on-wood paintings, a contemporary narrative fused with elements from medieval art, Absurdist French theatre, and Fellini's films. She calls her paintings "ballads."
