Born in Kingston, Jamaica. Has lived in Kingston, St. Mary, Kingston, England, the US and now again in Kingston.
Art Education - Southwark College & Chelsea College of Art & Design – London, England.
It has always been "Music and Colors" for Breeze. Drawing a crowd whilst dancing and singing around age 5. Later, a Gran Aunt recounted how the then "Babs" use to sit on the veranda and draw all the time. Throughout school in England her drawings, paintings and ceramics where admired and discussed by teachers and peers. From school she went on to four years of full-time study in Photography & Textile Design at
Southwark College & Chelsea College of Art & Design respectively.
Breeze has maintained her Art & Design skills over the years, consistently reinventing them. She has painted & exhibited at community events including The Commonwealth Institute. Sold fabric designs to companies in the United States & Europe. Designed and sold Screen Printed T Shirts in London. Designed and produced machine knitwear, selling these on her stalls under the arch in London’s Portobello Road and at the Lyric Theater Hammersmith, whilst maintaining a studio on the River Thames. In New England, CT she produced T Shirts, Jewelry; Tie Dye & Batik wearable’s which sold in downtown Hartford and at shows and events in regional states. In Atlanta she focused on Digitizing & Embroidery where she ran a 12 color single head Toyota machine from her shop in Five Points.
Now full circle in Jamaica, her current Artwork, Photography portray a unique angle of inner consciousness. Breeze’s mostly oil on canvas art pieces are colorful, abstract and contemplative. Her photographic images capture un-assuming yet powerful energies of daily life.
It is the hope of this artist, that the future owners of these works will experience a journey through them that lead, to a place of "Too Utterly, To Utter," knowingness and upliftment.
Please do purchase my artwork & photography (Original Oil On Canvas Pieces, Art & Photography Posters and Postcards.) Once purchased, they should eventually "unlock" to share with their rightful owner’s. Blessings.
