Lady in Hat
BBD 023 This original acrylic painting has a story behind it. Beata writes: “My favorite and most successful painting is Lady in Hat. The story of that wonderful young lady is very interesting. She is a Hungarian painter who lived in England and worked as a kitchen worker for her living. The reference photo was done during one of her lunch breaks when she visited a boutique close to the kitchen where she worked. She tried on clothes and accessories, including the hat in the picture. Would you think that under that coat and hat she wears the kitchen robe? She is wonderful, isn’t she?”
Beata strives for inner silence in her artwork. “So my paintings can be considered as byproducts of seeking my inner peace. I have no intention with my paintings. I don't want to make other people happy, change the world or create something beautiful and good. I just want to find myself... inside.” Beata expresses this well in her original art.
