JB206 - Some figures in this original painting seem to be celebrating. The red heart sits against a black background. One figure holds a parasol as people in jazz processions do. Some look to the viewer.
Jack Barrett said, “I love to draw people because that is where the soul resides.” His art reflects his philosophy and vast talent. Had Jack never sold one painting, he would have painted as it was his life’s passion. From the age of seven he wanted to be an artist. He came to believe that a “man is never closer to God than when he is being creative.”
