Contemplation
JB133 -The figure sits, looking up, while life surrounds her. The bull behind her stares at the viewer while birds fly past. Her arms are crossed on her lap but form the opposite image of the bull's horns. The sun is fire against the sky as she contemplates.
Jack Barrett said, “I love to draw people because that is where the soul resides.” His art reflects his philosophy and vast talent. Had Jack never sold one painting, he would have painted as it was his life’s passion. From the age of seven he wanted to be an artist. He came to believe that a “man is never closer to God than when he is being creative.”
