Artist Thomas Keller
began creating art as the result of an spiritual awakening in 2001. Prior to that time he was a construction contractor and has continued to be so. When he began painting he felt like a river of creativity was flooding through him and had to be released.
Thomas Keller's paintings are mostly pastels, a medium he was drawn to naturally. Thousands of crystals of pure color comprise pastels so a painting is a crystal field reflecting light.
He then was drawn to free sculpt wood and since moving to Atlanta, Ga., a city craved out of an ancient forest, He again felt compelled to release this river of creativity. Wood is a very feminine medium with it's continuous grain curves and inherent strength.
