 Thomas Keller Angel of Egypt
Artist Thomas Keller began creating art as the result of an spiritual awakening in 2001. Prior to that time he was a construction contractor and has continued to be so. When he began painting he felt like a river of creativity was flooding through him and had to be released.
Thomas Keller's paintings are mostly pastels, a medium he was drawn to naturally. Thousands of crystals of pure color comprise pastels so a painting is a crystal field reflecting light.
He then was drawn to free sculpt...

 In Dreamland
Beata Belansky Demko has joined Discover Original Art. She is a self-taught artist who resides in Hungary. We are impressed with the texture and subject matter of her paintings. They are introspective and reflective. In the last year she has spent her time painting her emotions, experiences, and feelings.
Beata says, "One thing drives me, to live the inner silence. Greater silence or peace - before taking a paintbrush - I had never experienced. So my paintings can be considered as byproducts of seeking my inner peace. I have no intention with my paintings. I don't want to make other people happy, change the world or create something beautiful and good. I just want to find myself... inside."

Icarus! Mythology lives! Recent movies and books are testaments that ancient mythology lives today. Carol Dameron, noted artist, often finds inspiration in mythology . Icarus flying with wings made by his father. Icarus flies to closely to the sun. And, as we can all guess, the wax that holds the wings together……melts. How terrible to see your son fall to earth! Check out Carol’s other paintings at Discover Original Art.
